Watch the movie

So here it is … our ’5 minute’ film … that ended up as 24 minutes … made by a main crew of just 2 people and a cast of 5 and with a bit of help from a few others along the way. If you’ve got the kahunas to stick with it you should be able to work out the plot, but if you have a short attention span – you might loose track! … you have been warned!!

If the film is playing slowly or keeps stopping then maybe try watching it directly on vimeo from this link – Average Man

Glad you enjoyed it. We’re putting more details about the making of it and our other projects up soon. We’re going to be making a real ’5′ minute short on the Nikon D800
as soon as the pre-order comes in. Another quirky little movie with a few twists here and there. So please feel free to check back again in a month or so ….. Simon

Just came across this by accident, really impressed with it actually! Great work, very simple and very effective.

Any plans to continue the story at all?

Hi Chris. Thanks for the comment.

Funny you should mention continuing the story, because right at the very very end I was going to have ‘the average mans’ face suddenly change from the look of total despondency to a wicked evil grin. As though all this had been part of a deeper darker plan, played out so he could get himself into that position. Where the ‘average man’ actually turns out to be way more trouble than Death had ever bargained for.

The struggle for ‘the world that is to come’ is now ON

However, whether or not I continue this particular theme onward I don’t know.
I’ve got a load more ideas I want to develop and produce. But you never know a
sequel might be on the cards sometime.

Anyway, thanks again for the positive comments. I’m going to put the original script up for anyone interested in giving it a read. Just to show how tiny word changes and vocal inflections can deviate the overall theme and feel of the piece.
As well as loads more about the Jackker project ( Really need to find the backing to get that one finished ), and future works.
So, please feel free stop back again sometime. Constructive comments, both + & – are always welcome.

    Regards
    Simon
